About the Project This project is a visual communication study designed to highlight the critical pollution caused by the textile industry, utilizing data from the United Nations (UNEP & UN-Habitat) as a primary reference. Developed within the scope of the global "Zero Waste" movement supported by various stakeholders, the objective was to translate complex environmental data into an impactful and accessible format for social media audiences.
Design Process: The design language is built upon the high contrast between the unsettling reality of waste and the aesthetic allure of fashion. The campaign visuals focus the viewer’s attention directly on the source of the problem—raw fibers and textile piles—using macro photography. Simultaneously, the typographic hierarchy is optimized to enhance the readability and urgency of the striking statistics found in official UN reports.
